Hard water

I live in hard water area (Headington, Oxford). Is it ok to fill the tank with tap water? Can i add some dishwasher salt or washing machine water softner tablets?

Hi Qim,
Its fine to fill the unit with tap water, DO NOT USE ANY DISHWASHER SALT OR SOFTNER TABLETS.
