Header Tank - Hot Water Empty Header Tank - Hot Water

Hi,

I have recently had the immersion heater changed on my Pulsacoil 2000.
Following this I noticed that the water in the Header Tank was boiling hot. I searched forums and discovered that this had been overfilled and so have now removed the water so that it is at the correct level. The thermostat rods have also been checked with a mulitmeter and they are functioning correctly.

The water in the Header tank is still getting warm - though not boiling hot. I am not sure if this is correct or not - as it may be something I have not noticed in the past.

Can anyone advise?

Thank you

The water will get this hot, if it starts steaming and your cupboard is full of steam, it could be the thermostat rod has failed. Also make sure our lid is completely closed.
