Water level light is flickering
Hi,
Just moved into a new flat and discovered that hot water comes from the tap but only for about ten seconds then it runs very cold. Looking at the boiler, which is a PulsaCoil III, the water level green light is flickering. There also seems to be a buzzing noise which I think is coming from a red box at the bottom of the boiler. This has a switch which has 3 levels and the buzzing gets louder as I switch between the 3 levels, 3 being the loudest. I hope this makes sense and someone can help me with this.
Thank you,
David.

Re: Water level light is flickering
Hi David,
The lights always flicker on a Pulsacoil III. Nothing to worry about!
No sure about the buzzing noise though. Sounds to me as though your pump could be stuck. It should be set to max speed ( III ). Take the big silver screw out and spin the pump motor shaft. It may burst into life.
Cheers, Mike

Double check the header tank water level.
I totally agree with Mike, also just visually double check the water level in the header tank.
If you are not sure how to use the Pulsacoil 3 boiler correctly, request a free self check mini guide via this link -> Pulsacoil 3 (III)
