where to buy pulsacoil 2000 line 3 element
hi there
i have a pulsacoil 2000 line 3 - serial number starts with 073000XXXX -
i need to replace the bottom element, but which one do i get? is it generic or a specific one for this particular boiler ?
if you could tell me a decent replacement that would be great - and perhaps point me to the direction of a supplier too ?
many thanks guy !

The immersion you need mate, and this is for the whole Pulsacoil 2000 series, is an XB083.jimbob5000 wrote:hi there

This would be the OEM Gledhill Immersion, I would recommend using those regarding to the longer live expectancy.
Depending where you are living, down at the Hampshire aria , I am living ,you could order them via Total Boiler Spares at Ferndown , Dorset. I guess they have also a online shop.
You also would need a good quality spanner, plumbers-mate sealant, and 2 bottles of Fernox for the treatment of the new refilled system water. With a bit of luck, your drain cock is not blocked up ,so you can drain the full tank , as required. This would take about 2 to 3 1/2 h for the job, depending how fast your boiler is drained out. I also would strongly recommend to change both immersion course of the time this job takes and as you then have the boiler empty once and both immersion stack in your system for a time, the chance for the boost immersion to fail or corrode as well !! . Play save and change both immersion.
hope this helps

By the way, Line 3 is just the production line ( 3 of 6 lines) so this is not relevant. Important is the model, as yours is a Pulsacoil 2000, the immersion for the Pulsacoil A class , BP , mark 3 mark 1 ( also known as Torrent) or mark 2 are different in length
hope this helps

Yes the element looks right
Hi Jim,
Yeah that element seems like an incoloy one. Just confirm with the supplier that the thermostat they provide with it is a Cotherm TS0R0704 TSD and it reaches 73oC.
Hope this helps mate.
