Limited Hot Water Empty Limited Hot Water

Post  robtownsend Wed May 20, 2009 6:38 am

I have a problem with my hot water - It runs lovely and hot but only for a very short time (approx 1 minute). I have a new Heat Exchanger fitted which has given the temperature a bosst and is lovely and hot..... but it just doesn't stay like it long enough for even a shower, let alone to run a bath?????

Any help or advice please

Rob

Hi Rob,

This is sensor failure, control board failure or a seized pump, in that order of likelihood. Easy to fix if you wish me to visit. I have the parts in my van. I've tried to call you back but I always get your voicemail!

Cheers, Mike

I agree with Mike, also check the water level in the header tank.
