Hello all.

I have the above system and noticed that the Red light on the panel is flashing constantly.
There's no way to verify it is "medium" or "fast" flashing but I would assume it would be "fast" - about 2-3 flashes per second.

I have switched the whole system from the isolator off and back on and tried the reset switch but the light still flashes.

The water tank on top of the store was (when I first saw the flashing light) low as you can see in the attached image so I topped this up and it didn't drop again after that.

One engineer suggested the store may be blocked or have an air bubble and that I drain some water and see if it takes it and it did. I topped up the tank and the level has stayed put.

No matter what I do the light continues to flash but it works perfectly. Not missed a beat with the hot water or the heating. So why the flashing?

(The electrical backup 'Switch' is not on either).

Can anybody please help?

Thanks.

Vijay.

p.s. Picture upload not working ;-(

HI Vijay

Sorry for the delay in anwering your post regarding the Boilermate A Class but I've been away from the forum for a while.

If you have a flashing light on the Boilermate but everything is working it is usually down to a glitch on the main circuit board. If you have hot water and heating, just ignore it until the unit fails completely, and then change the circuit board as and when necessary.
