Electrical Fire
Hi,
I hope someone can help me? I am in a rental property and our Pulsacoil relays have 'burnt' out 5 times now in the last 6 months and just keep getting changed. Our top eliment had also leaked on to the lower one and was only cleaned and only the leaking one changed. Is this ok to do? My concern is that this could this cause in electrical fire? I have heard that having a retrofit kit fitted may help but not sure if we have one? The unit is also 10 years old, I am just worried any safety features may now be to old and this could cause some major damage? Thank you!

Re: Electrical Fire
Google up the retro kit.
Then look at yours to see if fitted.
The relays do burn out.
The land lord is paying which is handy.
The leaking heater was changed.
The bottom one is used more. So all is ok.
Is there an RCD consumer unit / fuse board in the property?
If so then you have protection.
