Hot Water only when Boost is pressed

Hello!

My A Class has stopped providing me with hot water, unless I press the black boost button. I have to wake up at 2am to press it so it starts when the off peak tariff is on, but as you can imagine, I can't keep that up!

I replaced the what I thought might be the fault, with the GLEDHILL RELAY RETRO FIT KIT (PCA)MIP098 but I'm still having the issue.

Any help would be much appreciated!

I assume you have fixed this now but it seems probable that the bottom immersion heater has failed. Regards Murray

Is it something that I could manage to fix myself, or would I need the services of a professional?

If so, do you by any chance have a recommendation for someone who services the East London area?

Hi, you really need a professional to do some fault finding it could be an issue with the live supply to the heater, or more likely the heater has failed. replacing the heater means draining the system down and often they can be a bit of a pig to get out. There is a section in this forum (Gledhill Repair Specialists) to help find someone to look at it for you. Regards Murray
