BOILERMATE OV

Hi i have come across this system with zonal heating and the upstairs is not getting any heat is this an actuator valve problem or pump how do i diognose and if it is an atuator problem how do i tell what valve is broken there honeywell with no manual over ride lever.

As the downstairs rads work this appears to be a problem with the heating installation, not the Boilermate.

Having said that, you are on the right track suspecting the zone valve has not opened. You just need to figure out why that might be - which you shouldn't find too hard as you appear to be trade anyway!
