boilermate II Empty boilermate II

hi
just read the question about buzzing noise from the delay timer pcb.
my question is that i've got the same buzzing noise but from the pump drive pcb,
every thing seems to work correctly, i'm wondering if any other thing can cause
the buzzing? (like may the pump sending funny signs back, it does work ok).
the reason i say this is that a plumber has looked and said that the stat is at fault?

regards sy

Hi Sy,

It's a faulty board. Both control boards are known to make the enfuriating buzzing noise whilst continuing to work correctly. Replace it and all will be well. It's nothing to do with the thermostat!
