I can't seem to get the control circuit back on as the green light does not come on. The red light on the PCB is flashing away and the previous owners seem to have knackered the thermostat reset button that I find when I take the front off. Any thoughts please?

The unit is about seven years old - and has been trouble free to now - I wish I had left it alone!

The fact that the red light on the PCB is flashing tells us the power is turned ON, and that is what the green light is for too! Therefore, the green light bulb has failed.

If the unit is not producing hot water after a long period OFF, it is probably a jammed pump. Free it by turning the motor shaft with ascrewdiver. To do this, remove the big silver screw from the middle of the pump.

Cheers, MIke

Thanks Mike - just got back from three weeks away, tried your suggestion, but did not solve it. The flashing red LED suggests that one of my sensors is not working, but all but the most basic plumbing is beyond me. I think that I had better get some professional help on site. Much appreciate your response anyway. Lesson is "dont turn it off"!
thanks
