PulsaCoil iii No hot water
Hi Mike,
Please could you help me. I have a Pulsacoil iii. I have had 3 engineers to look at the boiler and they have not managed to fix it as yet. The water out of the taps fluctuates between cold and lukewarm. I have not had a hot shower in a month. The engineers have replaced the board and the temperature sensor but I still have cold water. Please could you advise me as to what is wrong with this boiler.

Hi Katie
In situations like this we like to go back to the problem you have described:
Is the water at all the taps cold? Is the shower a thermostatic shower? It may be a problem with the shower as opposed to the boiler?

There is no hot water from the kitchen and bathroom sinks either. Yes I do have a thermostatic shower which I think is broken but I would still expect hot water from the kitchen and bathroom taps

Re: PulsaCoil iii No hot water
although the water is cold at your taps is it still of resonable pressure [ volume comming out of the tap ] if its got slower then i would check the plate heat exchanger it maybe scaled up.
i would also run a 240 volt supply via an rcd direct to the pump to confirm its not blocked on the hot side, plate heat exchanger will get very hot very quickly. then it maybe thr phe sensor faulty.
is the red led flashing like a heartbeat or is it erratic with a low buzzing sound every couple of secs.
is the store comming up to full temperature/ has it overheated at any point ?

Check water levels and sensors
I would recommend you check the water level in the header tank and PHE/DHW sensors.
