Poor performance, unreliable, temperamental & cold water most of the time!

I've had the PulsaCoil 2000 since I bought my flat brand new in 2005. In my opinion it has never worked properly, only allowing enough hot water for one small bath in the morning, and then nothing for the rest of the day until the following morning. I have to boil the kettle to wash up! I've had various plumbers round over the years when on several occasions it has packed up altogether. Each time they changed the sensors, but the performance has always remained poor.

Over the last year or so, it has been completely temperamental, and every now and then, one morning we will wake up to absolutely no hot water whatsoever. The booster will not even work when switched on. It's very bizarre, because the following day, it will work as normal. This makes us reluctant to call out a plumber AGAIN because chances are, by the time they arrive, all will be working as normal. The green light on the front is so dim now, that you can't really tell whether it's on or off. The tank at the top has the correct level of water. The boiler is hot to touch. But just the water is cold from the taps. This problem is gradually becoming more frequent. It's happened twice so far this week.

Would love to finally get this problem solved before the cold winter kicks in! Any advice would be much appreciated!!
