Lukewarm water in the morning only

Hello.

We have just moved into a flat and the hot water works brilliantly during the day (after about 9.00am-ish) and during the evenings. In the early mornings (around 7am-ish) the hot water is tepid / lukewarm. There is no option to put the booster on at these times.

What could be the problem? Thanks heaps for any advice.

Sound like the off-peak immersion is faulty.

Sounds like we need to call someone out to fix. Is it expensive?

We are in London.

I've just been thinking further - I'm not entirely sure which energy tariff we are on (we've just moved in so haven't sorted out all the finer details of things!). I'm going to call electrical company to find out. If we are not on Economy 7 or equivalent, would off-peak immersion still work? Or could that be the problem?

It sound like the off peak immersion is the problem, if you have trouble finding someone local then by all means give us a call.
