lukewarm water only
in the last week my hot water has pretty much ceased, and is now down to lukewarm only - unless i use the boost. Spoke to a heating engineer today who told me that the manufacturers of Pulsacoil 2000 have gone out of business, no parts are avaibale and that i should just get a new water heater - is this really the case ? Or is there still a chance to save this one ?
If it can be saved - any recommendations of an engineer in the Leicester area ? Am i looking for a plumber ? Or electrician ? not sure what to search Yell.com for .
Thanks
Sarah

Re: lukewarm water only
Hi Sarah,
Yes Gledhill Water Storage went bust last year but spares are still freely available from the new company so there is no need whatsoever to replace the whole appliance. Sounds to me as though your lower heater element has failed, or the overheat thermostat in it (if it has one) has tripped. Easy to fix.
A Google should reveal a Pulsacoil engineer in your area, or look for one on the 'find a technician' lists on www.segel.co.uk
Cheers, Mike

Parts are still available.
Parts are still available to buy and the system can be repaired as long as the cylinder is not leaking.Gledhill Pulsacoil 2000 Spares
