PulsaCoil III boiler seepage of water around the base
Dear Mike
I have PulsaCoil III boiler about 10 years old. In October 2009, two IH were replaced due to build up of lime scale. On plumbing check recently there was seepage of water around the base of the boiler. It was advised to observe for further progression of water seepage. It was commented that the water could have escaped from the split in copper inner linning of the boiler. Is theer any remedy for this situation.
With regards

Re: PulsaCoil III boiler seepage of water around the base
Good morning Lay
If you have water coming from around the base of the unit, and the top surface of the unit around the small header tank is dry, then I'm afraid you have a failed unit.
Unfortunately there is no repair for this type of failure and you will need to replace the unit.
The current model for replacement of the Pulsacoil 3 is the Pulsacoil BP (which is a square unit instead of the round one that you have at the moment), although you will need to get the correct size one to match your existing unt.
If you are in the Midlands, we can help you.

Agree with Mike
Mike is right, you can repair this. Best option is to go for a BP system. If you are looking for information on this or dimensions, request the manual via this site ->Pulsacoil BP Manual
If you are still struggling to understand the BP system, just call us on 0800 046 1241, we'll do our best to help you.
