My Pulsacoil III boiler is leaking from a copper valve near the base of the unit. This is casing the cistern to keep emptying and leaving a pool under the unit.

Has anyone else had a similar problem and is there an easy way to fix this??

Thanks for the reply its much appreciated.

It's the large connection just above the grey box. You can see some of the water in the photo.

Hi Ken,

You will need to drain the pulsacoil and replace the pump valve, It looks like the pump valve is leaking from the bottom joint in which case you can isolate the pump valve and replace the washer and refit it.

I hope this helps

How do drain the tank fully?

Could the process be done manually as ideally we do not want to call anyone out if we can fix it ourselves.

Connect a hose to the drain point at the bottom of the pulsacoil.
