No Hot Water - Red Flashing Light - Help!
Recently my hot water became tepid. I have checked the plastic top water tank and re-filled as it was extremely low. The green light on the front panel is on and the red light is off. However, when I have removed the metal front cover, the red light on the right hand side flashes twice per second for a while and then it will flash continuously for a few seconds and then go back to flashing twice per second.I have also noticed that the orange light (which I think is usually lit) on the off peak switch is no longer on?
Can someone please explain the fault and what will need to be done??
Much appreciated.

Hi,
It sounds like you have a sensor issue, have you got a manual? The red light on the pcb flashing means the following,
Two flashes per second : Normal operation
Five flashes per second : Both sensors faulty
Seven flashes per second : T1 sensor faulty
One flash per second : T2 sensor faulty
LED continually on : PCB failure - although I have found that this somtimes doesn't happen and still can fail.
The orange off peak neon only lights during off peak hours I.E. 12.00 - 7.ooam.
Hope this helps
Kind regards

Thanks for your response, I can't seem to locate a manual.
I have also noticed that the system makes a funny whirring/buzzing noise during the day and also I can no longer hear the system heating up at night?

Hi Claire,
Do you have access to a multi meter? You would be able to test the elements if you have.
You can download a manual from here...

Hi Gary
I must admit I'm not entirely sure what a multi meter is?
