Lack of Pressure Empty Lack of Pressure

The mixer tap linked to our Boilermate has failed a number of times and been replaced, we were eventually told that the reason for the failure was the system was running too hot. We have turned the temperature gauge down and since than there have been no problems with the mixer tap. However, now the water pressure has fallen. Does anyone have any ideas how we can improve the water pressure?

Hi Hughsie,

How is the pressure at your cold taps? If it is good, your boilermate either needs descaling or the blender valve replacing. (Neither is an easy DIY job.)

If cold pressure is poor too, the problem is nothing to do with the Boilermate, and to do with the water supply into the house.

Hope that helps.

Cheers, Mike
