no hot water
I went to use the shower earlier today and the water gradually got colder, and now there is no hot water, i checked the cistern, which was very low. I have now refilled the cistern to a sufficient level, but still no hot water. The red led, on the control board, is flashing normally at 2 flashes per second. When i try the hot water at a tap the boiler makes a buzzing sound which hasnt happened before. Can you help me in solving the problem.

Re: no hot water
Hi Wallis,
The boiler (or more specifically, the control board) makes a buzzing sound when running the pump, during HW demand. You probably haven't noticed it before with the boiler front in place and you in the bathroom running a tap.
The pump is probably air-locked if the unit got so empty of water that it stopped working. Try loosening the big silver screw in the centre of the pump while it is running and see if any air comes out.
Cheers, Mike

Possible shower cartridge fault
If it is only your shower that seems to have this problem but all taps are working, it could be your shower cartridge that is faulty.
