Pulsa coil 2000 overheating!!! Empty Pulsa coil 2000 overheating!!!

Post  ebbie Fri Jan 20, 2012 11:09 pm

This is a repeating problem! We had someone out before Christmas to look at the system as it had been very noisy during the night, sounded like loud bubbling and when we looked at the system, the header tank of water was really hot! We turned the whole system off and waited for it to be looked at professionally! After a few visits the man decided that he needed to replace something (stat?) which he did on 20th December and everything seemed to be ok! BUT was woken up by an extremely loud bubbling sound and strange smell this morning and it is happening again. However, this time it appears to have got so hot that there is condensation forming in all areas of the flat! What could be wrong with the system and how will we be able to get it sorted once and for all!

Sounds like rod stat.
Relay if there is one needs checking too.
Not all PC2000's have them though.
Look on here, list of advertisers home page.
Or Google up in your area for one.

Pulsa coil 2000 overheating!!! Empty Stats

Post  sunny.sahdev Fri Oct 04, 2013 2:24 am

Hi Ebbie,

Confirm both stats were replaced. Also confirm that the element pocket is not leaking which causes stats to fail or operate incorrectly. You can purchase the correct stats via this link: Gledhill Pulsacoil 2000 Spares,do not use any other stat.

Pulsa coil 2000 overheating!!! Empty Don't forget to vet

Vet the company or engineers advertising as I have personally come across many that actually don't know what they are doing.
