Pulsar coil 2000 Empty Pulsar coil 2000

Post  Charles Jennings Sun Feb 19, 2012 2:25 pm

I have a Pulsarcoil 2000 and the other morning the economy 7 timer nearly caught fire so i replaced the timer and works correctly but the boiler doesnt sound the same as before. I have 2 flashes on the PCB but i used to always hear the hot water bubbling away as soon as the timer kicked in. My water is coming out hot but i'm not sure if the pump is ok or a thermostat has gone. Can you please help?

Hi Charles

From the problem that you have experienced, I would strongly advise that you get a qualified engineer to check your unit, as it would be incorrect for me to give you further advice gieven the potential seriousness of your timer nearly catching fire.
