boilermate 2 how old is old

how long should this boilermate 2 last? 10yrs, 20yrs, does anybody know. our boiler was installed march 94. is it past it, whats the average life span

A lot depends on who and how they installed it.
And if the owner has looked after it.
At the moment I am trying to work out. How long is a piece of string?
Have you some problem with your BM II
Or your boiler?
