NO HOT WATER AND LIGHTS SAY THERE IS NO FAULT
Hi,
Our boiler kept tripping out for over 2 weeks and then decided it didn't want to give us any hot water at all.
The lights are saying there are no faults and the water in the tank above is at the right level.
We have now been without hot water for more than 2 weeks.
Please help!
Thanks

Hi Jess,
It sounds like it could be faulty immersion heaters, I would suggest you test them in the first instance.

Hi Jess,
I had a similar problem and still with a small problem. But I checked the water tank on top of the boiler, that must be half or at least nearly full. This was only a quarter full, as soon as I filled it up the hot water started working. It just doesn't heat up over night.

Hi Gary
We tested the immersion heater with an ohm meter and it said it was fine.
Is it possible it could be one of the sensors? if so is there anyway of telling which sensor it will be?
Thanks

Hi,
Have you tested for 240V at the immersion? if 240V are present i would then check these;
1, That the overheat stat has not tripped.
2, DHW pump is not stuck.
3, Then the temperature sensor and pump speed control.
Let me know how you get on.
