Pulsacoil 2000 immersion heaters etc Empty Pulsacoil 2000 immersion heaters etc

Hi,

Can I install a standard anti-corrosive e.g. BACKERSAFE BS311C in the thermal store and set it to 73c ?

I have been using the SHEL XB080 for years but they are now £68.00 !!!!!

I have seen many standard immersions heaters fitted

Also when refilling the thermal store does inhibitor need to bee used, if so which one & how much ?

Many thanks in advance, Paul

Yes you can install other heaters.
But they may not last very long.
Add a litre to every 100 litres.
X100 or similar

BACKERSAFE BS311C is the immersion heater you are using. Please note that the thermostat rods that come with them do not reach 73oC. Also what Mike has said I agree with.
