Intermittant hot water
I have a Pulsacoil 3 in an appartment. There are three switches on the wall: mains elec (self explanatory), off peak (what should this be switched to? currently on "on") and booster (currently we have this on "on" as there is not enough hot water - is this correct?)
When going in for a shower the water goes stone cold initially then warms up nicely with good pressure. However this only lasts for less than 10 minutes and certainly not enough for two people. Both green lights are on and ive opened the cover to see that the circuit red light is flashing at around two flashes per second. Have topped it up a couple of times with no real success.
Anyone got any ideas? all help will be greatfully recieved
thanks

Thanks for your reply Mike, I have checked the bottom heater which seems warm and there are no leaks?

Re: Intermittant hot water
Hi Ap,
When Mike says check it he means with a multi meter, you should get a reading accross the element of around 18ohms.

Thermostats As Well
Also check the thermostat rod, if there is no continuity then that may have tripped.
