Heating engineer has quick check on boilermate & noted backup electrical fuses had not been pushed and jumpers were missing..only 1 in position 4...system been like this for 6 years since i moved into the property
Can you advise on where I can purchase jumpers and the spec I require....had a quick look on keep the heat on where I purchased a DHW sensor before xmas but could not locate jumpers

Hi salbar,
Observant of him to notice this!
The BM2000 needs jumpers on J1, J3 and J4. You can probably get them from the chap at http://www.segel.co.uk/
Cheers, Mike

Jumpers
Just been getting my head around the 2000 system. Everything is functioning correctly, managed to get the ciculation pump to shut down now I have turhined up the boiler temp. One puzzle as per the previous post. Everything functioning correctly but there is only one jumperinstalled in slot 4. Nothing in slots 1 and 3. Should i be worried?

With only 1 jumper in, your pcb is running on a basic modification , so not to the full efficiency as it could, also jumper , you will also get them in any Computer repair shop ( for jumpering hard drives on pc's) for pence( may a £1 for a pack of 10 or so)chriscollard wrote:Just been getting my head around the 2000 system. Jumpers
That's brilliant. Thanks for information. Just bugs me that people get away with installing stuff incorrectly in the first place. I'm no plumber but I can still read a manual. Just hope the jumpers haven't been missed out to bypass another problem which I don't know about yet!!

Re: jumpers boilermate 2000
Both of these unit must have had a replacement pcb at some point, as Gledhill would have assembled the Boilermate in the factory and set the jumpers accordingly.
When a replacement pcb is installed afterwards, they are only supplied with jumper 4 fitted as the GT155 covers a number of different models and should be configured individually everytime one is replaced.
I know this doesn't alter the situation that you have come across, but I just thought it might put your mind at rest.
