Hi, Before explaining the problem, can someone please tell me if when the unit is set to operate normally with both heating and DHW on ( and not using the switch function)should I be able to go through checking the system parameters ie temp of store etc by pushing sw1 or sw2 on the board, or do I have to go through the process of of inserting the correct jumpers 1,3 and 4 and inserting jumper 5 as shown in the commissioning info in the manual.
In my case when set to operate in the normal mode, pushing sw21 or sw2 has no effect and no information apart from "on."is shown in the display.

You don't need to change any jumper in order to have SWs working. So I suspect you have faulty main PCB. Check here: https://gledhill-repairs.forumotion.net/t1219-continuous-heating-dead-acb

You should be able to.
Does sound / look like the ACB has failed.
You could try switching unit off, wait and then on. May reboot.
Or the setting up as in when fitting a new board.
Never handle PCB s as static can / will destroy them!
