Continually filling water store pulsecoil 2000
Hi
I am having to top up the header tank every 10 days or so for my pulsecoil 2000, and subsequently having to reset the temperature cut out. I live in flats, so I would rather not leave the water to the header tank on continuously and rely on the ball valve, incase it sticks and causes flooding. But can anybody advise why I need to keep topping up the tank?
Many thanks
JB

Re: Continually filling water store pulsecoil 2000
Hi JB
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but if you're topping up the header tank then water must be escaping from the unit.
This can happen for one of two reasons;
1] The lid is not fitted to the tank and the water is evapourating.
2] The unit itself is suffering from an internal leak and is beyond repair.
Unfortunately, our experience tells us that the most commen type of problem causing the header tank to be topped up with the frequency that you are having to is that the unit is leaking and will require replacing completely.
We are based in Leicester and cover the East/West Midlands areas. If we can be of assistance just give us a call.

Check the unit for signs of leaks
Hi,
Check if the unit has rust marks on it internally. If the unit looks fine then check the elements for signs of leaks.
Whatever the case new unit or spares, the links below will help you find the parts you need.
